Wooded Habitat™ Engineered Hardwood
Authentic engineered hardwood flooring manufactured in the United States
Discover the beauty and sophistication of Wooded Habitat, one of Parterre’s three engineered hardwood flooring collections. Authentic hardwood straight from nature, this collection is ideal for practically any space, especially multi-family homes. All Wooded Habitat products are manufactured in the United States.
Features of the Collection
An affordable, artistic flooring solution, Wooded Habitat features a total of seven SKUs that include maple and hickory. The colors range from light and modern to darker and more traditional tones. Use any of the beige, brown or grays in this collection to create a warm, inviting space; you can even combine a few different SKUs for the same space since the colors flow easily from one to another. There are also no repeated designs in engineered hardwood, which means that each piece is truly unique.
In addition, engineered hardwood is the perfect complement to our existing LVT collections so you can find all your flooring solutions in one place.
Specifications and Installation
All Wooded Habitat products are 6½ inches wide with a minimum length of 10 inches and a maximum length of 60 inches. They also feature a high-performance UV coating with an aluminum oxidized finish that results in smooth texture, low gloss levels and lasting durability.
When it comes to maintenance, all engineered hardwood products are easy to care for: Clean by sweeping, dust mopping or vacuuming and use hardwood and laminate floor cleaner as needed. Please do not clean your engineered hardwood with water or steam, as it may permanently damage the floor and may void your product’s warranty.
Choose from floating, glue down or staple methods for installation.
Ideal for Multi-Family Spaces
Just like with our LVT products, engineered hardwood is ideal for practically any industry. Wooded Habitat is the perfect choice for any business looking to make a lasting impression, including high-end retail or corporate spaces and the lobbies of restaurants and healthcare facilities.
This collection is an especially great option for multi-family homes due to the affordability and variety of natural tones and textures. In multi-family settings, many designers are selecting lighter or white cabinets and countertops and a darker-colored floor for contrast. The soft, clean designs of Wooded Habitat tie in nicely to the ideas of elevated simplicity and minimalism, and the neutral tones will complement all types of furnishings and wall colors.
A Sustainable Solution for Your Next Project
Parterre is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council and the National Wood Flooring Association, and all of our new products within the Wooded Habitat collection are FloorScore® certified. The products are also compliant with the U.S. Lacey Act, which is a conservation law that prohibits illegal practices when it comes to wildlife, fish and plants. They are also compliant with CARB Phase II, a California-based act that focuses on wood products and sustainability.
Parterre products may also be eligible for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credits.
