Aspects: Not Your Grandmother’s Linoleum

Parterre’s latest flooring product is a throwback to the days of linoleum. Featuring a textural design and complex colors, Aspects was created from original art of natural linoleum and stone. Historically the go-to choice in hard surface flooring, linoleum is traditionally made from linseed oil from natural materials like flax and limestone.

“This isn’t the look of your grandmother’s linoleum,” says Parterre President T. Fred Roche. “Unlike traditional linoleum, which had muted coloring due to manufacturing limitations, Aspects offers amazing depth and range of color. It’s perfect for commercial spaces, especially healthcare and retail stores.”

Offering a variety of color, Aspects comes in warm and cool tones. It’s available in six colors: Bliss, Fantasy, Harmony, Plush, Sedate and Tranquil, and is sized in 18×18 tiles.

The Sensatia collection, which includes Aspects, features more color than ever, but in subtle, neutral tones designed to deliver a serene quality. Besides a sophisticated style, the premium vinyl construction that’s unique to Parterre Flooring means this collection offers exceptional dependability. All Parterre premium vinyl flooring products are made with a high-performance polyurethane topcoat applied to the product’s heavy-duty wear layer. This allows for easier maintenance and resistance to staining and scuffing, resulting in a versatile and long-lasting flooring product.
