“When you flipped it open, it had numerous products that fit this build. The feathered-wood look fit exactly what we were trying to do.” [Talking about the selection of plank floor products found in one of Parterre’s architects folders for its Vertu Luxury Vinyl Plank collection.]

“The flooring had to be easy to maintain, especially in the clinical areas where the stone tile was used. To avoid slips and falls, the flooring could not be completely smooth, but it had to be easy to mop and buff. The texture and monolithic pattern of the Parterre stone tiles help hide seams and soiling. We were also able to support environmental objectives by using non-wax products that help the facility reduce the amount of water used in cleaning the floor.”

“The two main areas where Parterre was used are very high-traffic areas, with dozens of kids going through there in the course of a day. The flooring we used had to be a product geared toward high-traffic commercial areas that we knew would hold up. I’ve used Parterre for years in other healthcare facilities. I know it holds up.”

“Parterre allowed us to have a more hospitality look and feel to the space and it helped us to reflect the upgraded services that this practice offers. It really helps set them apart from their competitors.”

“We also liked that the Parterre flooring is easy to repair, if needed, by simply pulling up one strip of the plank or one tile and replacing it with a new piece. From the specifying process, through to installation and now maintenance, Parterre Flooring has really worked out well for the Giles Hospital.”

“We looked at options provided by a few other manufacturers, but we selected the Parterre product because of how it looked and felt within the space.”

“The selection of Parterre Flooring was a combination of both design and function, as well as affordable cost. Our focus was on creating a peaceful and inviting environment since evidence shows it allows for faster healing for patients and reduced stress for employees. Parterre flooring offered a very soothing feel, and the soft khaki greens of the stone tile provided a natural look that’s similar to the incredible views seen from the hospital windows.”

“We chose Parterre for its performance and color. Even though it’s in the heart of the hospital, the Family Resource Center needed to feel more like a residence. The wood-flooring look makes it seem like a home setting. Plus, it’s comfortable underfoot and does not vibrate like other hard surfaces would.”
