Current Achievements, Certifications and Declarations

FloorScore^® Certification*

FloorScore^® is a certification program that tests hard surface flooring and adhesive products for compliance with indoor air quality emissions; our products are FloorScore^® certified.

California Proposition 65

California Proposition 65 is a state act that requires businesses to warn consumers about elements of concern in the composition of the products they sell. After required product analysis, all Parterre products pass Proposition 65.

California Specification 1350*

California Specification 1350, which provides environmental and public health requirements for building projects, includes guidelines for indoor air quality. Parterre commercial flooring products are indoor air quality certified and offer a moisture barrier that prevents microbial growth.

mindfulMATERIALS

Parterre products are available on the mindfulMATERIALS website; mindfulMATERIALS is a design industry initiative that provides a platform for manufacturers to communicate information on their products (including sustainability details).

LEED Credit Eligibility

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) is a green building certification program that uses a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a building in an effort to be more environmentally responsible. Parterre products may be eligible for LEED credits, meeting the guidelines for Low Emitting Materials and Low Emitting Adhesives.

WELL Credit Eligibility

WELL is a building standard that prioritizes the health and well-being of occupants in a building. Considered a sister certification to LEED, which focuses on environmental impacts, WELL focuses on human health impacts a building has and how to improve them. Parterre products may be eligible for WELL credits.

Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently verified and registered document that communicates transparent and comparable information about the life-cycle environmental impact of products. Product declarations have been completed for Luxury Vinyl Tile and Plank, Loose Lay Vinyl Flooring, and Rigid Core Flooring with acoustic backing products.

Health Product Declarations (HPDs)

Health Product Declarations, which determine what products are comprised of and how they could affect human health, have been completed for Parterre products. Certifications are available for Luxury Vinyl Tile and Plank, Loose Lay, and Rigid Core Click with acoustic backing, as well as a summary of results for each declaration.
